Climate change has shifted from being a theoretical future to an everyday reality, businesses have altered their perceptions of risk and what investments will be needed to adapt. This has often taken the form of hardening physical assets by building protections against climate hazards. But other options exist as well, including design and material choices, business continuity processes and new technology tools to better predict climate hazards and assess their risks. Many businesses are still struggling with the choices and tradeoffs that increasing resiliency and adaptation capability present.
